We are expanding rapidly and seeking driven Business Development Representatives to help scale our impact and growth across several key territories in the United States and Canada.
Role Overview:
As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for introducing CLĪMIT’s technology to contractors of all sizes who need reliable, simple, and cellular-based climate monitoring. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure and play a critical role in building our customer base and revenue stream. This role requires a consultative salesperson who can simplify technical products, communicate value clearly, and build trust with construction professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify contractors, project managers, and operations leaders within the general constructor, and subcontractor vertical markets of flooring, millwork, HVAC, drywall and coatings.
- Lead the complete sales process from discovery and product demonstration to proposal, closing and training.
- Deliver hands-on product demonstrations that show the simplicity and reliability of our solution.
- Maintain and manage a healthy sales pipeline through HubSpot CRM tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with customer success team to ensure seamless onboarding and retention.
- Gather market insights and provide strategic feedback to leadership.
- Represent CLĪMIT at industry trade shows and events to build awareness, brand credibility and fill the new business opportunity pipeline.
Qualifications:
- Five or more years of B2B sales experience within construction industry is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience selling technology solutions to a range of individuals from installers, project managers, supervisors and C-level executives.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual quotas.
- Strong ability to communicate technical solutions in practical, real-world terms to non-technical users.
- Excellent relationship builder with strong listening and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, comfortable operating in a growing, fast-paced company.
- Passionate about technology that simplifies complex problems for clients.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $90,000 – $120,000 base salary plus uncapped commissions with tiered accelerators for over-quota performance
- Quarterly performance bonuses
