CLIMIT is seeking a highly energized, tech-savvy individual to serve as our Northwest Business Development Manager. In this role you will play an integral role in driving our game-changing technology solution into the construction market.

Your primary objective is to secure flooring, millwork, drywall, HVAC, coatings and general contractors of all sizes as new subscribing CLIMIT customers. This will be achieved by mining your region for targets, contacting them and presenting our solution either in person or via Zoom. You will represent the company at numerous events focused on the construction community which include; national and regional trade shows, and a variety of events hosted by industry associations, distributors, trade unions, and product manufacturers. Successful individuals will thrive on introducing new solutions, have a strong interest in building construction, enjoy demonstrating new technology with patience and a winning mindset.

Job Requirements:

  • Manage all new customer acquisition activities in assigned sales territory. This will involve a blend of telephone calls, zoom meetings and in-person visits.
  • Mining prospects in your region by using the company’s market research database.
  • Walk construction sites will contractor personnel and adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Conduct customer training events either in person or via Zoom
  • Identify and attend regional events targeting sub-contractors and general contractors.
  • Diligently maintain current records in the company’s HubSpot CRM platform.
  • Attend weekly business review meetings remotely.
  • Work collaboratively with inside demand generation colleagues to follow up on new business opportunities.
  • Present/demonstrate the CLIMIT solution to groups of varying sizes.
  • Conduct training classes for new users.
  • Serve as the first line of customer telephone support.
  • Introduce and demonstrate newly released software features and hardware solutions to new and existing customers.

Location:

The Regional Sales Representative will be based out of his/her home office and have demonstrated success in working autonomously in prior sales roles. The ideal location is the Seattle area.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of outside sales territory management. Construction industry experience is a plus. A secondary school degree is preferred, but not required. We value proven grit, resilience, resourcefulness, follow-through and a goal-oriented mindset more than anything!

Compensation

Base salary starting within the range of $70,000 – $120,000 depending on experience, plus a lucrative, uncapped commission plan. A car allowance and expense account are also provided. Full medical and dental insurance. Proven performers may be eligible for employee stock options after 1 year of employment.

Supplemental pay types: Commission Pay
